Fancy a Dress, Anyone?

Sorry I've been scarce this week. Work has been getting more hectic and couple with working extra from home at nights, browsing times was almost non-existent. :( I'm still playing catch up on your blogs and emails, but I will get to the bottom of them, by hook or my crook. :D

I loved reading about your stash preferences. How cool is it that some of you have little or no stash, like me, *giggle* and some of you, I've LOVE to live next door to, so I can come and swim in your stash. ;)

Meet Fern... the invisible pixie; notice that her potion wasn't potent enough to hide her legs. LOL!!! She's stitching up pretty quickly, despite the fact that work has been crazy this week. There are quite a bit of blended threads in this design, and those took up quite a bit of my time as they were more fiddly.

Next up, skin.... urgh!!! I hate stitching skin, especially when I have to smooth out jaggedy arms. :)

she's becoming beautiful, i love her dress.
I think that's because i really like the bleu and green colors, they remind me of the sea.

Hugs Yvon.

ps i have a lot of stash, but plan to make everything!
I only hope that i will have enough freetime to do it.

Oh my goodness, Joyce, that is sooo pretty!
Thanks so much for e-mailing me about the "lack of face"; your DHs observation that the designs are "couture" shown by mannequins does make a lot of sense.
I am always getting greatly inspired by all your Mirabilia beauties! I have only stitched a few (Little Stitches and Deco Spirits). I really want to start on the Feather Fairy still and I have added a few select “queens” to the “must stitch soon” list, like Royal Holiday, Queen of Freedom, Queen of Peace, and Enchanted Mermaid. I love those designs! I am already looking forward to your next progress pic!

Fern is looking great! I hate stitching skin too. I really like the lugana ancient even though I'm a linen girl too. I ordered a fat quarter of it during the sale. I wonder what I'll stitch on it though! lol

You have still got lots done, even with lots of work (I am always amazed at how much stitching you get done!). She is looking gorgeous, the colours are so pretty and I love her Grecian inspired dress. Look forward to seeing the rest of her.

So pretty :-) Such a cute shoe.. hmm if I stitch it, I might add some beads on the top of the shoe. You know I am such a beadmania lol.

I'm curious how you smooth arms, just by sight or some other process?

It's funny that you mentioned playing catch up with blogs. I've been sitting here going through everyone's blogs when I set this time aside to stitch. LOL! But I can't help myself everyones blogs are so entertaining and I love all the work. Fern looks fantastic you're progress is great. I love using blends (I guess I'm a freak that way) but I find it really fun. Happy stitching stunner xox Alicia
