Regal Tiger

Hi fellow hermitters!! How was your IHSW? I hope you had some time to cuddle up with your thread and needle, and I can't wait to check out your blogs!!!! :D

I didn't get as much done this weekend as I did the last time. We babysat my cousin's 2 year old on Saturday, while mommy and daddy had a date with Harry Potter and dinner. He's so cute! The baby, not Potter.... LOL!!

I mentioned last week that I was having the hardest time getting into the groove with Tiger. I don't know if it's stitching on aida, or the threads, or the huge size 24 needle. Whatever it/they might be, it's gone, gone, gone... and we're a'cruisin' along. :D Don't you just love his eye??? And it's not even backstitched yet!

I'm going to list all the Hermitters' blog addresses in this post. This way, no navigation to and from the older post is necessary. Let the eye candy and drooling begin!!

Your tiger is looking great :)
The eye is already looking so awesome that I can't wait to see it with the backstitch, I bet is going to be to die for. I'm happy that you're back to enjoying stitching it because it's really a beautiful work :)

Love Tiger! You got so much done. Glad to hear that you are falling in love with Tiger too, but I agree, sometimes it is hard to switch "stitch mode" from linen to Aida and the other way around. He is gorgeous though...

It looks so nice already! The eye is really impressive, but I like the different shades in his fur, too.

Wow! Such amazing detail. This will be quite a sight when its done. I was so surprised to find you live in Ft. Lauderdale. How you liking this rain?! Just the lightning in the sky this afternoon was a spectacle. Quite scary.

So glad to meet a blogger in the "area" :)

He is gorgeous Joyce and you got quite a bit done this weekend. I think the fact that he is really starting to appear now is making him easier to stitch.

I am sure you had fun with the 2 year old, it is such a fun age (give or take the terrible two's tantrums)

I will start 6 geese shortly - the treasures for this one are lovely.

He is absolutely stunning, so life like! I just want to give him a hug lol

I have found a regal tiger kit :D
It's quite expensive though :(

Can't wait to see him finished!!

Wow he looks fantastic. The eye is amazing and will look even more piercing once it's backstitched. Beautiful work. And great job organising the hermit weekend. I will join next time. I've seen a few of the mutual blogs we have and the girls have done really well. xo

Your tiger looks magnificent! It's hard to find good tiger cross stitch patterns but this one is so life like. It will look even more stunning when finished. Great work :)

Wow, if this is without the backstitch, with it it will be 10 times more awesome! Love it!

The tiger is looking great!

IHSW was very productive for me. I'm plodding along through round robins, but got one piece done and sent. :)

I have my recap up. It's been great to meet a few of you so far via this month's IHSW!
