Diablo III

That's it!! My life... as I know it... is going to officially come to an end at the stroke of midnight on May 15th, or whenever hubby and I finish downloading Diablo 3 on Battlenet... I wonder if we can download right away... I mean, they're saying that Presale starts today... so surely, right? Gotta ask hubby.... Need him to build me a computer. He's been saying that for awhile now in anticipation of the game release, but I kept saying "Nah, let's see. I might not want to play it after all."A statement, I should add, that resulted in a snort and very little else on that day from him and much teasing since then. I think maybe we should get me a gaming laptop, then he can hook it up to our TV and my wizard,... no, demon hunter.... ermm... no... monk... yes! MONK!! No, make that wizard.... maybe... can run around larger than life! Yes... I realize I'm rambling but I can't help it!!!! My fingers won't stop typing and my brain is going a hundred words a minute and I'm surprised that I'm making coherent sense right now... well... maybe I'm not. LOL!!!!

Ok.... *deep breath, deep breath*...

With free time being such a precious commodity ever since we started working, I gave up gaming for stitching but now.... now....???? What do I do now???!! We've only been waiting for this game for years!! LOL!

Ok.... I'm an adult... I can budget my time wisely, right? Like Heidi said, priorities...
1. Diablo
2. Food
3. Sleep
4. Stitching

I was like "sleep??? Who needs to sleep?"....

I totally understand -- I think sleep is highly over-rated

ROFL!!! If the new expansion for WoW turns into a massive dud, I might be joining you in D3. There are a lot of friends on WoW that are considering the turnover to D3 because of this new expansion with WoW. Sleep is overrated and annoying when it takes over. Too much to do!!! LOL I've got my DH's laptop hooked up to our big screen and it's awesome. (Azeroth has never looked so good!)

You are too funny!! My son and his girlfriend are the same way with Hunger Games. I think they dream about it. The other day my son runs out of his room breathless. I'm thinking rat or snake in his room. No!! Just the Hunger Games preview he didn't want to see.

And your right, who needs sleep;-)

blessings, jilly

LOL Didn't expect to see this on a stitching blog but Thanks! We have been wondering it was going to get released. We really loved D2.

Sorry, I'm a non-video-gamer (except Pac-Man and Tetris). I got dizzy just watching my son play Super Mario Bros. LOL. But when I saw your post, I thought you were going to make that Diablo III box cover into a cross-stitch chart! You can request a x-stitch pattern from a pic at http://www.spritestitch.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1

Okay ... I can understand that you're excited! I'm only a Nintendo DS player (nothing on computer or television). Never ever have played WOW so ... excuse me but what is all this hassle about? ;-)
Joysze ... you aren't going to quit stitching are you ;-)? Serengeti is waiting! And sooooo many other stitchy things! ;-)
Have a nice weekend!

:) Its great when you have something to look forward to.

Dare I mention that I don't have a clue what Diablo is and I don't play computer games? I am sometimes tempted but have never really got around to it, doh! lol

My OH and I have been anxiously awaiting this too! As current WoW players, I manage to balance my stitching and playing pretty well although it is often a massive dilemma, especially when I keep stash buying and the stitching progress seems slow!

I'm sure you'll find a way to balance the 2.

Love to see how excited you are for this. Isn't it amazing how a game can eat your life? Also, sleep can so be pushed off for a bit. :P

I am also a WoW player, however have never played a Diablo game. Usually I get into a zone and I do whatever I am in the ZONE for exclusively so at the mo it's stitching, but it might change to reading or gaming. Tho my BF has recently gotten me playing Skyrim, that could be very dangerous for my stitching :)

I bet you will have 90% of 1 and 10% of 2+3+4 from your list ;) hahaha
Don't forget to go to the bathroom in between too :p LOL!!!! :D

I love your commitment to not sleeping. I recently got hooked on a Sims game and sleep has taken a back seat. I know I'm done growing, so why should I need to sleep? Oh yeah, I have a two year old! ;)

I totally understand Joysze. I'm a gamer too.

Lol! I was surprized to see "sleep" in the list, and before stitching too! Enjoy your game, but do spare some time for blogging too, or all of your readers will miss you!

I forgot to comment on this...oops!! You better have another number on that list, number 5: email Anne :P Don't forget me!!! I really wish I could be playing this with you two when it comes out, but as you know, no good comp to run it :( And ya, who needs sleep?!?! Just caffeine it up with some coffee and go 24/7!!! Sleep is for suckers!!!

HUGGLES!
