June IHSW Report

*peeks out*

Hellooooooo hermitters...

How were your weekends? Did you stitch lots? Are you projects growing by leaps and bounds? Did you stay in a bit from the sun and nice weather to play hermit? In other words, were you a good stitchy hermit, unlike me?.... LOL!!!

I swear, it's a good thing you guys don't know where I live 'cos I have a feeling you'd descend on me en masse to take D3 away from me, and then stand over me sternly as I stitch. *giggle*

There is, however, a break beneath the endless tide... oh lordy, I'm quoting D3... *smacks forehead* but there's hope for me yet!!! You see, we've made it into the Inferno difficulty level and are dying quite a bit, which kinda takes the fun out of it. (Hmm... I wonder if I should mention that hubby and I are also leveling new characters or that I just bought us Torchlight 2.)

Don't give up on me yet, ok? Stitchy feelings are a-stirring and I have a feeling seeing your IHSW posts will do a lot to feed and fuel that desire. So, I'm off to do that and no, I haven't forgotten... reply to emails. :D

I can't blame you. . .my total stitching for the weekend was zero too!

Hmmm, fifty lashes with a wet noodle for you! LOL! I only got in a little stitching this weekend, so I really shouldn't be pointing fingers.

You popped up in 'real world' for a while I see ;o)
These games are quite addicting, just like stitching, but one can't do both in the same time :o(

Torchlight 2. Diablo 3. Like Sarah, I can't blame you a bit. It sounds like you and hubby are having a ball and that's really all that matters. :)

We shall pull you back to the 'dark side' though. Floss, needles and yummy fabric. It's really just a matter of time. ;)

Sometimes when the bug is gone it helps to not force it back by stitching when you dont' want to so I say rock on D3.

When I had no stitching motivation, everyone else was progressing like crazy and now that I've got my mojo back, everyone else has lost theirs. Is it back luck or bad timing on my part? I always was out of sync! But I totally understand the lure of video games. I just managed to get out of a gaming cycle myself!

I didn't stitch a lot, had a super busy weekend but I did put a few x on fabric and will post a report later today or tomorrow if I'm to tired to do it tonight :P

I was a very good stitchy hermit. I work on UFO (Halloween House) and after I was all Halloween out I got hit by startitis and started a new project 'A good marriage" by LK. I will update my blog later tonight.

Evalina, This and that...

Hey, far be it from any readers to pull you away from a video game! For my part, the double EXP/pang (in-game-currency) in the online game I play was last weekend, which really helped my productivity this one. :D As long as your hobbies make you happy, that's what's important!

Aw I missed the weekend again. I will get better at the sign ups, I promise. Even so my stitching was very limited. I was at work, half a day on Saturday, and full one on Sunday. And with murder mystery dinner party, my cold, dress tryouts: the time seemed to disappear. Hope you will rediscover the passion for stitching (it happens with me sometimes - and I have to change to knitting for a few months). Good luck!

Hey I know what it's like to be sidetracked by something new, stitching will be here when you're tired of gaming, so enjoy. My IHSW was a little late but the worst part is when I signed up I made an error in the address and my link doesn't work so here is the correct one.

Hey, this was my first IHSW and although I singned up without really thinking schedule, I did manage to work a few stitches on a puppy dog picture for one of my daughters.
I almost feel relieved! ;-)

Please stop by my blog for evidence! LOL

I'm going through a gaming phase at the minute too, not the same kind of game as you, a little different but still it's taking me away from my stitching! Just have fun with it!!

Cute panda. Malaysia is getting a pair of pandas from China, did you know that? Hence when I first saw this post, I thought that was what it was about :P

Tried adding you again last night with battletag. Hope it works. If not, I'm out of options.

My highest character at the moment is my wizard hovering at 30++. I know I stitched this past IHSW but it doesn't seem as if anything got done. Sigh!

Hugs,
Veronica.

Dying is no fun, but it sure makes it exciting when you're playing, doesn't it?!? I've been enjoying my game quite a bit as well. We just got two new chars, and I'm having a ball!! Glad you're enjoying D3. I've heard good things about it, from several people. My bestie in game has been playing it too. He says it's awesome!! I've still been stitching, even though I've been very busy at the computer. I've gotten lots done on my blog, as you may or may not have seen. (I'm so chuffed. I've learned to write html code, whoo hoo!!!) I hope to see your eleven things post up soon!!
