Petal Fairy and IHSW

How were your IHSWs? Did you have a fab time? I know with it being Father's Day yesterday, that things would've gotten hectic for some of you guys. I hope you managed to sneak little stitching minutes in and I can't wait to check out your blogs. :D

I had the most fabulous IHSW. I practically did nothing but hermit and stitch... ALLLLLL weekend long. Granted, the washing got done, the house got cleaned, the dinners got made, food for the rest of the week got prepped... but there were no other distraction from Petal. ;)

BEFORE

Saturday Night - dress all done. :D

Sunday Night - Skin, hair, and backstitching done.

The crazy plan is to have her finished by the end of the month. I don't know how much stitching I'm able to do during the current work week, but I shall surely try. In my mind's eye, surely her wing won't take more than a few nights.... HAH!!! As if!

To veer off the beaten path: I don't usually take food pictures, they never come out looking mouth watering, but I took quick ones of dinner and breakfast bread last night....

Shepherd's Pie - with chicken, carrots and peas.

Organic cranberry and walnut bread for hubby's breakfast.

Petal is looking stunning as is your shepherds pie. How do you make it with chicken. IHSW didn't quite go to plan for me I'm afraid.

Petal is gorgeous! I have had her kitted up until I found the Chatelaines, so I may have to start doing her also! You must have been working hard to stitch so much and still bake!

Wow, you got so much done on Petal! You are nearing the end! I think you should get her done by the end of the month, and if not, shortly thereafter anyway. :)

I rarely go out in the evenings these days but the last two IHSW have co-incided with nights out! So please keep planning them as it's great for my social life.

I knew that the pinks would look just gorgous on the fabbie! Way to go, your needle was sure flying this weekend.
So, why are you worried about not finishing her before the month is over? I assume that she has tons of beads and treasures, but the stitching looks perfect! Is there a lot of stitching left to do?
Have fun finishing her!
