Some "Fern" Time

This weekend was fun. We went to watch Captain America on Saturday and it was great!! If any of you are thinking of going, do!! It was thoroughly enjoyable and try to stay to the end of the titles cos there's a preview for The Avengers movie that'll be out next summer. ;)

When I started Fern, I had done so with the crazy, insane idea of trying to finish her over the weekend. It's a good thing I ignore myself in these moments cos that would have been impossible. ;)

So amidst the movie, chores, puttering, I got this much of her done:

Looking great! I can't believe you thought you could finish the whole thing in a weekend! I have adventurous ideas like that though too.

that quite a lot you've been able to do in one weekend.
Hope to see more of Fern the next time.

Hugs Yvon.

Oh dear me! You've got to have some speedyneedles in use :) I think that's an amazing amount of stitches for one weekend!! Movie and all :)
Hoping you speedyneedles in completing her :)
My stitching time was limited - again lol - during the weekend, but I got a few stitches, loads of ripping and then again a few stitches more onto my newest "conquest" :) I love stitching it!!

Have a happy week!
Hugs from across the big water

Lovely start :) We saw Captain America too...LOL...we had no idea that there was something after the credits, however, we were stuck! The people sitting on either side of us were not moving, so were had no choice but to wait. Good thing we did!! LOL Glad you had a great weekend!

Hugs and Happy Stitching!!

What a lovely fern! Love the fabric! ;D Might have to take the boys to see Captain America then... :D
Very nice colours. I love your fabric as well it sets of the blue and greens perfectly. Beautiful work so far. Don't worry I make impossible demands on my stitching as well. It never comes to fruition but it's good to have goals. But progress is progress and it's fun so all good! xi

Hey Joyce, my weekend was good thanks, I finished my Just Nan needle slides. Fern is looking great, I had to physically stop myself from buying ancient in PTPs sale, I'm saving my money for the Sparklies sale at the end of August! Have a good day, H x

I love the fact that you have crazy moments - you certainly got a reasonable amount of her done. My crazy moments usually involve starting yet something else (a crazier idea would be to finish everything)

Lovely colours in her dress
Love the colors on this one! You've made a great start and I can't wait to see more.

My hubby took me to see the final Harry Potter movie on Saturday and I loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, with a toddler and a child starting school in 2 weeks, movie nights are a rarity and as such I probably won't be able to see Captain America until it's on PPV or DVD. It looks great though!
