Chinese Garden Mandala - Pt. 5

I'm running quite a bit late this month with Part 5 of Chinese Garden. Ooopsies! :) But it's all done now, albeit slower than intended as I kept getting caught up watching instead of just listening to my DVR'ed shows. What is the world coming to??! LOL!!!

I went ahead and finished up the moongate for Part 6 as well, cos I hate switching out floss. Lazy, lazy... I know. ;) This does mean that for next month, it'll be a quick stitch to finish up the last moongate, and on to Part 4 of Spring Knotgarden. :D

Presenting the South Moongate: Rocks in the Sea. I believe it's a depiction of the Dragon's Spine or Dragon's Back Mountains.

Stunning! I love it J!!! I think you're right - the pic looks alot like the chart. Maybe it's Martina's rendition of those areas. Beautiful & as always, your stitching is perfect!!

Its looks great!!! Those colors are just so vibrant. And, I understand the watching. I can only listen if its something I have seen before. ;)
The updates for your projects always look so cool, and beautifully stitched, too! Good luck with your SALs next month, too!

It is sooo pretty! The mountans and the lake look so serene. I also really like the fresh looking yellow flowers combined with the red main-motif border.
I am with you about stitching and watching TV/DVDs. I have still not gotten to the 3rd season of Dexter, since I don't want him to take away from my stitch-time... :-)

This is gorgeous! I have a question though...are these designs stitched over one? or over two on a small count fabric? I can't tell. I was looking at these patterns last week and was trying to determine how difficult they are to stitch.
