IHSW October Pics

Hey there, Hermitters!!! :D How were your weekends? We had 84 little Hermies stitching madly away and I can't wait to check out your blogs and drool at all the eye-candy!!!

Mine went pretty well. I didn't get to hermit for the entire weekend *pout*, but all in all, I got quite a bit done.

Finally finished Part 7 of Chinese Garden Mandala.... wheeeee!!! Using the rayon for the leaves was no fun and I ended up with achy fingers from working them gently *snort*... more like tugging and pulling... through, but the 3-D effect is amazing!! I also finished all 4 of the lotus borders. :D

Chinese Garden Mandala - Parts 1-7

With CG taken care of, Mermaids of the Deep Blue went back on the scroll stand, and I started with the skin and backstitching. Not too much done as yet, but I hope to finish them by the end of the month. *EEEK!!!*

Sara (Xeihua) has been working on a mystery project for a few months now and since she can't show the picture on her blog, I'm posting it here. Isn't is gorgeous? :D

Last, but not least.... BLOGS TO STALK!!! *nya-hahahahaha*

Oh those mandalas are so supremely gorgeous~ Maybe one day, like everything else in the stitching world, ahahaha~ G'luck finishing your Mermaids! Two weeks... more than enough time! ;)

I didn't get as much accomplished as I had hoped but at least I finished my Soul Pumpkin WIP! Yay! I even have finishing materials so this might actually possibly be my first Super Finish Ever. (what a disturbing thought; I need to get stuff to the framers, hah)
CGM is looking AMAZING! I'm so jealous. you must be really happy with it.

sadly no topless hotties made the tea for me this weekend, and my boyf was less than obliging (apparently my topless hottie tea maker needs were less than his football watching needs, can you believe it?) H x

Heh, thanks to IHSW I have like a ton of new blogs on my Google Reader list! :D I wonder how many hermitters there'll be next month - 100? :)

Great progress on both your projects for IHSW. I had extra IHSW as I twisted my ankle so probably made up for the time you didn't get.

Your CGM is stunning, and I know your hands are aching because of the "stabbing", but I must say I'm glad with that because the leaves are WOW, they really do make all the difference :) And I just love your mermaid. I must say you and Rachel are becoming a bad influence for my wallet xD, you're enabling me start a Mandala and when I see your mermaids I just want to stitch them too xD... Thank you for one more IHSW and for more blogs for us to stalk eheheh

Wow! CG is stunning - I've been on the fence about Chatelaines, but you make it look worthwhile. I didn't get a lot of stitching done, but I did get colors other than beige on Tree of Life, so I consider that a triumph!

Your work is beautiful! I love the Chinese Garden especially!

I didn't get to stitch as much as I wanted this past weekend - my allergies had me out for most of the weekend, but I did make my goal!
I'm one of the unhappy creatures who managed to get hit by the cold during the last days. I made a bit of progress but not as much as I hoped. I've got to take a picture and update my blog, but I am just so tired now, that I will put that off for another day =/
I hope the rest of you did better then me!

Your Mermaids are amazing =) And Chinese Mandala is sooo beautiful =)
