Friday Randomness

Teresa Wentzler is a constant topic of discussion between my friends, Heidi and Vanessa, and me. One of these days, we'd say, we'll do another one. We even have our favorites picked out, but for me, the thought of all that backstitching is enough to send me off running and screaming like a grown man channeling a schoolgirl. Well, that was convoluted. :)

Yesterday, Heidi brought TW's Miniature Season Samplers back to my attention. I've been looking at them on and off, and they are getting really tempting. I love the ribbon embroidery in Summer, the colors in Spring and Autumn, and even Winter is growing on me.

This all bodes badly for me... really, REALLY badly, 'cos I've gone from occasionally thinking about them to actually planning for the possibility. "They're only 5 x 7; not that big, shouldn't take too long, and it could be so much fun..."

DRATS!!!

No Joyce no!! Do not post pictures of these samplers. Ok, it's too late for you NOT to, but goodness they are gorgeous. I love TW's blends and these seasonal samplers are just beautiful. I personally can't wait to see your WIPs. ;) (stop throwing floss at me) lol

I've been eyeing those too for a couple of years now. So far my common sense has won every battle and I haven't bought them - it keeps telling me I have enough on my plate already with the LHNs, CCNs and HAEDs. Anyhow, if you decide to stitch them I want lots of progress pics as they are really gorgeous and I don't have the time to stitch them myself! :D

I couldn't choose between them as there us something that gets my attention in each one. Just as well I can't do the speciality stitches...but I'm working on it. As fir backstitching... HATE IT lol

Those are cute patterns. I would have difficulties deciding between Summer and Winter.

Which one are you most interested in?

You know you want to stitch one.

The temptation is there I can sense it.

I can safely say i will not be doing these,as i think i'll be in tears trying those speciality stitches and getting them wrong, not to the holes that i would properly create.:)
After doing her Castle,i said never again,then i saw on someone's blog her Sunshine Dragon,now it's like shall i,shall i not. :)

Wow those are stunning samplers. Her work is just stunning in the detail that goes into it. They are small but they would be a lot of work!
