March WIPocalypse

Herein lies my March WIPocalypse report, or lack thereof. :S

Apart from the pics from the last couple of days on Chinese Garden and the itty bit of Sweet Pea, I have nothing else to show! :S

I'm happy to report that I did feel like stitching last night. I had my scroll frame sitting on the carpet in front of me, patiently and faithfully waiting while I built....

I thought I'd play for a little bit starting at 10pm. Then my mom called, and I chatted with my parents for an hour... while building my gardent. After we hung up, I built some more. When hubby said at 2am that it was bedtime, I said... "ya... ok!!!" I vaguely remember him calling out from the bedroom that it was "bedtime" at 2:30... and me mumbling something about needing to build a bridge...

This does remind me of Martina's seasonal knotgardens. Speaking of which, I should probably get back to Spring Knotgarden as well, huh? ;)

Sometimes we need to do other things then stitching (my god, did I really write that ;-) ...

I also have to ask = which game is that and are you playing on phone, Ipad or something else (with that modern technology you never know! ;-)?

Enoy garden building and let's see your progress - garden or stitching wise LOL!

Ah ha ha that sounds familiar - especially when I play Caesar III "honey, time for bed" "ok, dear, but there are barbarians attacking me and my city needs more workers" "you can do it tomorrow" DEATH LOOK "ok... I'll meet you in bed..."

When a woman needs to build a bridge, gosh darn she needs to build a bridge. Some nights am up late reading blogs. Hubby tells me to come to bed and read my eyelids.

blessings, jilly

There's nothing wrong with a non-stitchy hobby, but don't let it take over ALL your free time! Maybe this is just a warm-up to stitching your Knotgarden, after all!

Lovely garden, but 2:30?!?! That would never do for me as I'd barely have time to sleep before the alarm went off at 4:00.

Ah, stupid computers. They can suck up so much time, can't they. At least you thought about stitching, lol.

*giggles* Some time you just have to take time off from stitching to build a garden.

It looks lovely btw... what game/app is that?

Love both your gardens! Just had a peek at your finished Chinese Garden - it is simply gorgeous. Love the phoenixes. I shall have to start saving my pennies for a Chatelaine - yours are so inspiring!

I went to bed at half two the other night due to a sign up sheet for some art classes I promised to do for my mum. In times like this I feel she should catch up with the technology. There was I for an hour and a half swearing at my macbook and painting/french manicuring my finger nails in time of computer crashes/slownesses ... I did waste half a day on attempting to install gnuplot (and all the required prerequisites of software) just to find out to be able to actually plot any functions and put them into latex one needs to be a computer genius. Which I'm not sadly. Your evening/night sounds more relaxing.

I had the book they took it from when I was a kid, and LOVED following the paths till the exit.. I bet it's kind of worn out actually!
